Ha ha! I'm quickly learning to do my own editing!! Producer Adam is great about keeping elements of an interview that were supposed to be edited out.
For example, I had him edit the New Year's Resolution bit with Debra Lund from Franklin Covey. Sometimes when I'm interviewing someone - my mind doesn't work very well. She asked me how to eat an elephant. The obvious answer is one bite at a time, which would lead very well into goal setting. But ditsy me - I didn't say one bite at a time. I said "make sure he's dead!" What kind of dumb answer is that??
It was supposed to be edited out! But, Producer Adam with his sense of humor - left it in there, so now all of Chicagoland knows that I'm a dork!!
