Helping Men Dress

Many men have a hard time picking out their clothes. Well, they don't have a hard time picking them out - they just don't match very often. I'd like to help you out if you are one of those men!!

When matching colors - think football (seriously). Complimentary colors are across the color wheel from each other. And most football teams use complimentary colors for their uniforms. For example look at the color wheel below and find the Viking's colors (I'm not a fan of theirs, just a good example). You can see that they are directly across from each other!

Another idea is to pick colors connected to each other by the lines- take for example my Redskins - Burgundy (a shade of red) and gold (a shade of yellow). The University of Michigan is another example of this with yellow and blue.

When Picking Shoes - Even though my husband disagrees, there is a difference between casual shoes and dress shoes. For example - these are NOT dress shoes!!

When Picking Ties - Keep color in mind, but also NEVER wear a tie with a short sleeved shirt. I don't know why - just don't!!
