Yesterday we talked with Chicago Tribune reporter, Dave Wischnowsky, about the double homicide over the weekend in Momence, IL - a small town about 15 miles East of Shine.FM. Two Burger King employees were killed while opening the store in the early hours of Saturday morning. Pam Branka leaves behind a husband and a 16-year-old daughter who attends Bishop McNamera High School in Kankakee. Paul Jones had a wife and 6 children.
A memorial fund has been set up for the families. Donations can be sent to help offset educational expenses for Pam's daughter to the following address:
