Johnny and I have a special place in our hearts for Wrigleyville - Johnny being a die-hard Cubs fan and me having gone to Cubs game as a kid. Actually, my great-grandma Marian is a HUGE Cubs fan (maybe bigger than Johnny). She had a big screen TV before they were cool - so she could see her Cubbies!!!
On that note...
This morning Johnny and I chatted with Karen Kruse, author of A Chicago Fire House: Stories of Wrigleyville's Engine 78. Her father was a Chicago Fireman for 30 years and this book was written in his honor.
